Just Checking In
This has been one of the worst week's of my life. I'm just checking in to let you know that I'm okay...I will post soon, I promise. As a side note Maddie got Strep Throat this week because we need more sickness in our life.

Saying Goodbye
I am finally ready to post that my grandfather passed away at Midnight on Monday morning. We were able to sit with him and take care of him on Sunday. He was living at an assisted living facility, where he received wonderful care. The staff was very gracious, helpful, and kind to us that day. There are not enough words of thanks that will express that. I am also very happy that his passing happened very quickly and with little suffering. We got to say goodbye to him. That is something that some people never get. Yesterday, we spent the day as a family, had dinner, and told stories about him. I will be sharing them with you later. Some of them are very, very funny. I will be posting my regular project life stuff sometime this week or weekend. Please bear with me, as it is hard to feel up to getting in here and typing something. Here is one of my favorite pictures of the boys and my grandfather together.

Writer's Block...Oh and Happy Valentine's Day
I have writer's block. I'm serious. I actually can think of nothing to write about. On top of that, I have picture block. I've got nothing in the picture department. It's really hard to be creative when you have no creative ideas. Ugh....
On a brighter note, Happy Valentine's Day. On the way home today, I saw a lady flip the guy in the car next to her off. It lasted a good thirty seconds. I mean she stuck her hand out the window and everything. I got a chuckle out of it. Also, I was wondering if she realized it was Valentine's Day. You shouldn't flip people off on Valentine's Day. It's a rule. Anyhow, I hope you guys have a special evening with your loved ones.

Project Life Week 5
Here is the next installment of Project Life. I realize I am one week behind. I did ask Erik, repeatedly, to pick up pictures for me today. He forgot. So, I blame him for all of it. It's all his fault. Okay, it's not his fault, but I'm going to blame him. I just have to say, I really, really love this project. I know that I was worried about keeping up. It has been pretty easy to do...even if I'm a week behind...Being sick just took it out of me. I like it so much more than doing it monthly. I love looking back at the pages. I'm surprised by how much I have to say about each week. It seems so much more authentic than doing it once a month. The things that make it easy for me are:
*Printing pictures weekly. Set a cut off date for your pictures. My cut off is Thursday Nights. I print on Fridays. I know if I did this monthly it would be a waste. I just wouldn't be able to do it.
*Having a set deadline for posting the pages on my blog. You people are keeping me accountable. Way to go.
Anyhow, here are the pictures for this week.

Ain't Nobody Got Time for That
I really have Bronchitis, and it knocked me on my ass. I woke up Thursday and that was the end of trying to get over it without meds. Friday, I was incapacitated. Saturday was a little a better. Today, I'm feeling pretty good. That's good considering I have to go back to work tomorrow. I feel bad because I've had no desire to do anything. I am so behind in all of the stuff I had planned. I'm hoping to get my office cleaned up this evening. Maybe I will wash a load of clothes so the kids don't have to wear underwear or pajamas to school. I have my pictures for Project Life printed and ready to go. I have blog posts to write. I have a kitchen and house to clean. See, no one has time for Bronchitis. Anyhow, I hope you all are doing well. Have a good afternoon. Oh, and if you guys want to watch the Youtube Video, featuring Sweet Brown, the lady in the picture, go here. It went viral and was she was featured on Tosh.O.

When Stomach Flu Strikes
As you know, my JoJo got sick with the stomach flu on Friday. He started with the vomiting. It then progressed to Diarrhea. I just gave him half a teaspoon of this mixed with milk and he was fine. I swear, swear by this product. When JoJo had horrific diarrhea at the beginning the summer last year, nothing worked. They wanted to hospitalize him. I have never seen such terrible stomach problems with my children. I finally did an internet search and found this. Luckily, my favorite store, Toucan had this in stock in the refrigerator section. I mixed it with Pedialyte that time. I cut the dose in half so I could give it to him twice a day. It was the only thing that worked. His problem was solved within a day or two. I am recommending this to all the parents who read this blog. It is a lifesaver.

Project Life Week 4
I tried to get a good picture of this. I really did. I took the album outside so the light would be better. I got one picture before a gust of wind blew all of the cards away. All of the 20 Questions are on the page. Maddie did wish to modify two answers so I changed them in the book. For the pictures, JoJo was uncooperative with his picture. I also got only one of him last week before he ran off. So in about 12 years, I fear, he will regret that decision. I'm really enjoying this Project Life deal. I hope you all are participating too.
