Clique Kits Blog Share

Welcome to the Clique Kits blog share.  This is my second month of receiving kits, and I love them!  They are packed with tons of goodies.  With the July Kit, I made two layouts.  One is a traditional 12x12 and the other is my Project Life Spread.

This layout is from the weekend that we had my friend's memorial.  He was murdered.  It is probably one of the most traumatic things that has happened in my life.  I'm still trying to get over the shock of the whole thing.  We had a great weekend to celebrate his life.  Over 500 people came to the memorial.  Our high school friends came from all over the country. My friend Charclee, stayed with us the entire weekend.  We always have so much fun together.  My brother Josh came in from California.  It was a lot of fun despite the sad circumstances.
Moving on...
Here is my Project Life Layout

Thanks for stopping by.  I'm hoping to get a tutorial posted soon so check back in a few days for that. Enjoy the rest of your blog tour.

  4. I think the paper you used for your first background was my absolute favorite from this month's kit and I think it was a perfect fit for your memorial page. I am so terribly sorry for your loss but I love that you are focusing on the celebration of your friends life and I think you've done an amazing job of documenting those memories!

  10. Sorry to read about your friend but I think it is amazing that you shared that in your layout. Scrapping real life and not just the good times is sometimes a healing process. I love the choice of background paper and how you coordinated all the elements. The white viewfinder is striking. Thanks for sharing your talent in this blog hop.
