Summer...

We have been having such a busy, busy summer around here.  And that is a nice change of pace considering the last two summers have been uneventful.  Here are some random things I wanted to share...

The Lake


We have been spending a ton of time out on the lake.  It is home to me.  The smell of the water mixed with gas and fish.  It smells like relaxation to me...The boys have been fishing up a storm.

The Work

I've been keeping pretty busy with my photos this summer.  I just had a session with a large family.  It was a blast.

The Food 12x12 Layout

All Supplies are from the Memory Works Express Kits from who knows how long ago.

It's my first layout in a long time.  The photos are 4x4.  I cropped them in Photoshop Elements.  I used Glimmer Mists to color the Chipboard pieces.

A few vacation photos

We went on our first vacation in three years.  It was a lot of fun!  And very much needed.  I already ordered some pictures to scrapbook.  I guess vacations are good for creative sparks.  I just wanted to share a few pictures...There are a lot more (I have to convert them to JPEG).  Stay tuned for a few scrapbook layouts!
