Holy Hell

I want to know what actually happened to the time…because it's gone by so fast. These kids are getting big.  I love these photos I took today while the kids were flying kites in the back yard.

This is my favorite because their faces actually match the minion on the kite.  It makes me laugh.  And they actually look like brothers because there have been many years when they didn't look alike at all.  They look so much like Erik.  I love it.

Can someone explain how many ladders we need in this yard?

On top of all of this I have exciting news.  I'm a spotlight artist on this website. Also I have a local farmer wanting some of my photos for their website.  Who would of thought?  It's exciting and all part of my Project 365…who would have thought things like this could happen.  Anyhow, have a great day!

Getting Caught up on Project 365

Hello Everyone!  I hope you all have been well.  I haven't posted in a few weeks, but I've still been taking photos.  I've missed a couple of days but for the most part have been keeping up.  We've been busy around here and the fact that my main computer is a disaster makes it hard to keep up with posts.  Anyhow, here are the photos. They are not in any particular order.  If you want the particular order you can follow on Instagram. Ha

I've sort of become obsessed with the flowers in my yard.  I'm working on a series this week with them.  I hope to share them with you next Sunday.  I wish you all a great week.

Weeks 11 and 12 of Project 365

Hello everyone!  I'm way behind on posts.  We went out of town for Spring Break so I wasn't able to upload photos while we were gone.  Since we were camping, I didn't necessarily follow the prompts either.  So, here are the photos for weeks 11 and 12.  I did miss some prompts or took extra photos for some of the days.  Also, they are out of order because my computer is a pain in the butt.

Have a great week!

Week 10 of Project 365

This post is a bit late because my computer is running slower than molasses.  I think it's time to replace it.  There are two problems: one the amount of money to buy the Mac I want, and two (most important) the huge pain in the ass it is going to be to move 50k photos, actions, programs, etc. to a new computer.  I put off editing the photos because it takes five hours to edit one photo.  Obviously, that's an exaggeration.  I shouldn't have put it off.  So without further ado, here are this last week's photos.

Have a good week!

Week 5 of Project 365

Well this post is late because our internet broke yesterday….and our cable….one hour before the Super Bowl started.  It was a disaster and it was stressful as we went to Xfinity and then Best Buy to see if we could fix it.  We could not.  So, we watched the Super Bowl in Spanish on satellite until I was able to get on our mobile hotspot.  So, that was a fun adventure and I wasn't able to upload photos and all of that jazz.  So, here is this past week's photos.  The trend this week was black and white photos, apparently.

Week 4 of Project 365

I feel this week was a bit of a struggle.  I tried some new techniques but I also failed a few times.  I guess you can't take a great photo every single day of the year.

My first attempt at freelensing…this was beginners luck because I've been trying all week and I haven't gotten another good photo with this technique.

Wolfie has tennis practice at 6:45 am.  This was us about 6:30 drinking coffee together.
The prompt this day was: Rockstar.  I figured I could be one, right?  Then, Charclee and I went to dinner with Brian and Erik.  I thought I got food poisoning.  Apparently, it was not food poisoning but the stomach flu.  It's been going around in my class.
I drug myself out of bed to take this photo.  The prompt was blue.  I could have been more creative but between fever and the chills this was the best for the day.

And today, I feel much better.  Thank God.  So, I took a photo of my favorite mountains.  I hope you all have a great week.

Week 3 of Project 365

Hello everyone!  I'm on my third week here and I haven't missed a day of taking photos…21 days straight.  I'm really proud of that.  I've learned a lot just by picking up my camera everyday and using it.  I'm getting quite good at manual shooting and I can see a difference in my photos.  I've also learned some new tricks…who knew about freelensing (not me) but I plan on trying it to see what I can come up with.  I'm sharing one photo a day on my Instagram and those are the photos here as well, but I have taken a ton more.  I have some photos that I'm really proud of that I will share later.  Also, I've not taken many photos of the boys.  Apparently, they are tired of me taking photos of them.    I have been able to sneak a ton of photos of them with my phone, but pull out the regular camera and I can't hide that.  So, here you go…

This was a hard one…I was using my Lensbaby.  I missed focus on a lot of the images.

Okay everyone.  Have a great week!
