Clique Kits Pep Rally

Hello ladies!!  Welcome to the Clique Kits Pep Rally for August.  You should have arrived here from Emma's blog.  I have been super, super busy with a new job!!  I love it, but I've had little time to come up for air.  I only got one layout done for this kit which I really love :(  I love the colors.  I love the type on the pages, and I love the gold!!

I created a super simple layout.  I loved the pinks and blues together.  The stars came from the Clique Into Color Kit.  This layout is of my son.  He dressed as a nerd for Halloween and he looked so cute.  He's the cutest nerd I've ever seen, anyway.

Clique Kits Pep Rally

Hello all!!  You should have arrived here from Sandy's blog.  Today, I am going to share my planner page for August and I have a process video for you.  I will tell you, me and technology have been bumping heads for a while.  I won the battle, though so that's all that counts. Ha.

I purchased the MAMBI planner from the Clique Kits Store and I LOVE IT!!  The July Kit was such a fun kit and I used some of the papers to create my August Planner page.

The Date 8.5 by 11 Layout with Process Video

I decided to go with an 8.5 x 11 layout just to change it up a little.  I wanted to go clean and simple for this layout.  Wolfie and I went on a breakfast date.  He was beyond thrilled, I tell you.  Don't you just love preteen kids?  Anyhow, here is the process video for you.

May Wrap Up

I don't know if I feel as though May flew by, or if it was the longest month ever.  It was a busy month with a lot of things going on.  My uncle passed on May 5.  The weeks leading up to his death were very hard on us..for him and for all of our family.  It is still very sad that he is gone.  I think about him a lot.  On top of that, we had school ending this month so I was frantically trying to get everything done before we left town for my brother's graduation.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Law School!!!  I will post those pics later.

I just wanted to finish up by posting all of my layouts for this month in case you missed them.  I also want to share some awesome new products in the Clique Store.  In addition to that, I'm looking forward to summer and being home with the kids.

Clique Kits Pep Rally

Can you believe it's already been another month and another amazing kit?  I can't.  Time has gone by so fast this go around.  I know you all enjoyed Kat's post.  I have a layout to share with you all today. We are in the full swing of spring here.  We spend a lot of time outside in the yard when the weather warms up.  These are some of the pictures I've taken over the course of the spring.

The layout hits the highlights:  planting the garden, playing, grilling, and just hanging out.  Its been unusually cool, so we haven't put the pool up yet.  That will be the next upcoming project, I guess.  What are your favorite warm weather activities?

Mad Science 12x12 Layout Using Clique Kits May Kit: Carnival

I'm sharing a layout I made with the Clique Kits May Kit: Carnival.  This kit is packed with tons of goodies from Amy Tangerine's Rise and Shine paper line.

This layout is about Wolfie's science project.  He had to make a Rube Goldberg Machine.  Of course, he waited until the last possible day to complete the project.  I used the background patterned paper from the kit and covered it with the 4x6 photos and black cardstock.  Then, I slipped in the "Bright Ideas' card that comes in the kit.  I used the number stickers that came in the step to number the steps...since they are out of order.  I used the letters that came in the kit to create the title, "Mad Science."

Lake Fun 12x12 Layout Using Clique Kits May Kit Carnival (Process Video)

Hello Everyone!  I hope you all got to participate in the Clique Kits National Scrapbooking Day event yesterday.  There were so many great challenges, events, and prizes.  Today, I have a layout to share with you.  We went to the lake for a day during Spring Break.  The weather was cold especially on the boat.  We fished all day, but caught nothing.  Don't you hate when that happens?  Anyhow, we went ashore for a few minutes and climbed some rocks for this picture.  You can see it was cold because we are all wearing long sleeves.

Clique Kits Pep Rally|Happy Everything

Hello everyone!  You just arrived from Kat's Blog.  I am wrapping up this blog hop!  I hope you enjoyed all of the lovely projects all of the wonderful ladies shared today.

Clique Kits is One Year Old this month!!!  I can't express how proud I am of the founders!  It's amazing:  The community they have created, the beautiful kits they send out each month, and the awesome products and limited edition kits in the Clique Store.  I am extremely proud to be part of the Design Team and to promote this amazing kit club!

I'm going to share a few layouts with you.  The first one, I created for this post.  The others I created and have shared before, but I want you to have a chance to see them if you already haven't.  I really loved the "Happy Everything" kit.  The colors, papers, and embellishments were AMAZING!  This is one of my all time favorite kits.

Here is my first layout.

For this layout, I used a strip of the vellum paper in the kit, and a scrap strip.  I loved the background paper with all of the cute hearts and stars.  I used one of the cards and lots of the ephemera that came in the kit.

My favorite layout of the month.

I love this photo.  It is one of my most favorite in the world.  I used the diecuts that came with the kit.  I even did use my sewing machine to stick the embellies on!!
